Bottomless German Woman

mourning for Dr. Offenberger ...

... This morning I was the first time on a funeral here ... the chief physician of the children's ward Welser Dr. Christoph Offenberger
.
He has looked after me or rather us from the beginning. Especially in the beginning he was a key contact, as not so clear was what was wrong with me, for example in terms of epilepsy. With him at that time my parents have also asked for the drawing of blood for the genetic test for Rett syndrome ...
Even though my parents and he was not always agree - he was an important wheel in our way to diagnose Rett syndrome. And we always had the feeling with him professionally to be in very good hands.
Today we said goodbye to many other people from him in the church in Wels - it was a very moving exhibition for a person to whom much was the welfare of disabled children.
Even the Upper Austrian news report about the death of Dr. Offenberger: http://www.nachrichten.at/oberoesterreich/art4, 530 456

Dear Dr. Offenberger! I was always happy with you, even if you usually have blood drained me, but thanks to your "magic cream" that was never painful - thank you for everything you done for disabled children and their families have - we have this evening at home again lit a candle for you.
